The Rhineland-Palatinate Pedagogical Institute (PL) supports schools and teachers in Rhineland-Palatinate as a partner offering a broad and interlinked range of services in the following areas:

• the professionalisation of teachers with regard to training and the continuous education process,
• the creation of concepts, materials and publications for the development of staff, teaching and schools,
• support in the framework of the educational advice system,
• school psychological consulting and support in critical situations,
• offerings for school directors and school ,authorities
• and IT services.

• Teaching development, individual development and inclusion
• Language development and integration of children with a migration background
• Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM subjects)
• Transitions and career guidance
• Health and psychological consulting in critical situations

The main site of the Rhineland-Palatinate Pedagogical Institute is in Speyer with a further three training sites in Bad Kreuznach, Koblenz and Trier, and 14 school psychological consulting centres in the regions.
The Rhineland-Palatinate Pedagogical Institute is an associate partner in the EMR Lingua project.
